Start Time: 11:30
Final Lift: 3:30
GPS Stats:
Max Speed: 60Mph
Average: 23Mph
Max Altitude: 11,112ft
Total Vertical (GPS): 31,005
Total Vertical (EpicMix): 29,321
Runs (GPS) : 17
Runs (EpicMix): 15
Distance: 55 Miles
Max Temperature: 30F
Min Temperature: 14F
Jumps:
Longest Hang Time: .74s
Biggest Drop: 60ft
Farthest Distance: 73ft
The jump recording is a little fishy. It only seems to record jumps half the time. All the jumps were the result of Flying off crests rather than true jumps. Hmm. Not a bad day, but not amazing either. The snow was kinda meh.

DAMN! I did 16 lifts the other day at canyons with shy of 18k vertical feet. Are you using a smartphone for GPS stats? Also, you did a 60ft drop!

What mountain? Where? We were going to go, but the conditions didn't look good. How were they?

Hey! I was staying at a condo at Copper Mountain last year for a day because I was visiting my Aunt and Uncle who live in Castle Rock/Castle Pines (can't remember which) Colorado, and they have a Condo there they said I could stay at for a day. Didn't ski because it was in the middle of the summer (lol), but I did travel over to Frisco. Really cool little town! I saw a Ferrari F355 carrying a lot of boxes in the passenger seat and a Citroen 2CV while I was there.

My retired step father drives a shuttle for copper, so there is always a five day pass waiting for us when we get here.
Can't wait.

Beavercreek is a pretty large mountain. Smallest lift I did was probably 1500 ft. The jumps are deceiving. The mountain slopes down anyways, and all the jumps I hit were crests. It's more forward movement and the mountain drops down under me.

Most vertical I ever did was back in the days before GPS trackers and so-on, but since it was all on the same lift it was possible to calculate. I'm not sure it's possible to get more vertical in a day without a helicopter or something.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funival
The funicular at Val d'Isere takes about three minutes to get to the top, and runs just over every five minutes. It's just possible to make it back down in time to get on every one, although hard to keep up - two minutes sounds ok, but you have to carry your skis on the train and you lose a bit in the stations top and bottom. Making every other one is easy, though. It's a 900 metre vertical, which is about 3000 feet. If you really push, you can get 33,000 feet of vertical in one hour.
I don't remember the exact total number of runs I did, but it was one of the last days of the season so it was a long day. First lift to last was at least eight hours. Don't think there was any hour I didn't hit at least five lifts, and I know I managed every train in at least one hour. Call it 150,000 feet of vertical, for a round number. I doubt I'm the only person who ever did it. It's a great day's skiing.
Damn, I have to move back to the mountains :)

Holy Shit. The most i've ever gotten was 80,000 and that was from 8:00 t0 4:00 on the World Championship downhill course hitting upwards of 90 mph. 2000 vert took 3 minutes down and 7 minutes up.

EpicMix for one of the apps, it comes standard with all passes at Vail Mtn Resorts. The other GPS app is built into my Recon Goggles

Heh, it's all about the speed back up the hill - I expect there are others, but lifts which will take a fast skier back up in roughly the same time it takes to come down are sadly rare.
The maximum possible in a day must be somewhere around 300k feet of vertical. Come to think of it, I'm a bit surprised there isn't an annual charity event based on it.
